Although Metal will be the primary focus, I won’t limit myself to any specific genre or style. Whether hard rock, Thrash, progressive, punk or alternative, Suspension of Silence is a place for everyone who loves Metal in all its various shapes and forms.

While I will discuss whatever is on my mind from how I got into metal, my musical socialisation and why the music still resonates with me, I will also go through album reviews, band discussions, lists, rankings, and recommendations.

Additionally, I will share my thoughts on other mediums such as Film and literature as I believe that all three are capable of capturing insightful reflections that enable us to navigate the complexities of our world through the power of storytelling, whether that is through a song’s lyrics, a films dialogue or a books narrative.
